What have we been up to the last couple weeks of July you ask?!?!? The answer is quite simple, we have been having lots of FUN!!!
   

One of the highlights of week 3 was spending the day exploring the Yarmouth Lighthouse . We learned about Yarmouth’s lighthouse history, explored the rocks and even saw some whale bones. The top highlight of that week was travelling to Aylesford to visit the Oakland Farm Zoo. Every child had a blast viewing and interacting with all the animals. At the end of the day we treated them with an icy cold treat:)
  

Week 4 was spent exploring different playgrounds , having water balloon wars, birthday parties and cooling our bodies down at Ellenwood Lake:) We even had the opportunity to visit one of Pubnico’s main attractions, The Acadian Village!! The kids thought it was awesome that all the workers were dressed up like the olden days and they even explained to the kids how things were done and how things worked years ago.

Our goal is to keep the Respite Daycamp one of the happiest places a child can go to during the summer months.We want them to make new friends, try new activities, travel to places they’ve never been to, and to just live wild for a while!
